"The rise of childhood obesity has placed the health of an entire  generation at risk."

~ Tom Vilsack

IRX3 and IRX5 control lipid storage cells, and

by changing cytosine to thymine, can change the diagnosis of obesity. Obesity associated regions, mainly in Adipocyte progenitor cells, act independently in the brain. Thermogenesis is where adipocytes dissapate heat, instead of storing it as fat. By altering IRX3 and IRX5, we can trigger only theremogenesis, so it will release heat, similar to the energy released during exercising. [E.8]

Its Real Life Usage!

Obesity

Obesity is one the biggest health changes in the

21st century. Obesity affects over 35% of all people in the U.S., 17% of children are obese. This is far more prevalent than in the last generation of people. Lipid accumulation in the body through lipid storage cells cause obesity. The lipid storage cells are made created with genetics. Obesity is America's #1 problem, and continues to grow as a problem for the rest of the world as well. Coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, strokes, high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome, cancer, sleep apnea, gall stones, reproductive problems, and osteoarthritis are all problems that can arise after being diagnosed with obesity. Not to mention all the social problems, such as stigma, seclusion, and basis. Obesity is a problem on multiple levels in the American society and even finds its way into the news constantly. [E.7]
